About The
School
The school of physical sciences
offers M.Sc. course in Physics with Astrophysics, Materials
science and Fiber Optics & Lasers as the elective papers.
The duration of course is of two years divided into four
semesters. Laboratories of the school are well-equipped with the
latest equipment. The school has well qualified teaching staff
comprising one Professor, two Readers and five Lecturers.
Besides the teaching work, the staff is actively engaged in
Research and Extension activities. Four of the staff members are
supervising research work of Ph.D. students in the field of
Astrophysics, Materials Science, Microwaves etc. A large number
of books and research journals in physics are available in the
university library.
