School of Educational Sciences started in the academic year 2005-06. The school is conducting M.Ed. & M.P.Ed. Courses and efforts are initiated to develop the course by widening it in all directions through teaching; research, extension and community work with social commitment. Now, the school is in the swing of progress and rapidly growing qualitatively.

M.Ed. & M.P.Ed. are post graduate programmes. M.Ed. is one year course implemented in annual pattern and M.P.Ed. Course is implemented through credit system and semester pattern with duration of Two years. The objectives and nature of courses, admission process is described below. Both the courses are approved by National Council of Teacher Education. (NCTE), Bhopal.


           
  Admission process:

Master of Education (M. Ed)


       
 

The course runs on financially self support basis and admission process has been carried through entrance examination conducted by university. NCTE approved 40 seats to university for this course. Seats are distributed according to the reservation rules of government and university.

       
 

Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.)

       
  The course runs on financially self support basis. The admissions are given through Entrance Examination (CET) of Directorate of Sports & Youth Services, Maharashtra State.
Intake capacity of the course is 30. Seats are filled in according to the rules of Government and university.

       
 

Objectives and nature course:

           
  We are committed to prepare competent, committed, efficient and effective teacher educators through our courses. The School is interested to promote students in all areas of education as teaching, research, extension and social committed work.

The M.Ed. course includes Philosophical, Sociological and Psychological Foundations as theoretical part. Practical work and field experiences are also included as significant part of curriculum.

The M.P.Ed course includes Sciences of Sports Training, Coaching, Anatomy & Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sports Management etc. as theoretical part. Practical work and field experiences are emphasized as important part.   
           
 


Infrastructure and facilities:


           
  The school has well equipped with :
1) Psychology Laboratory, 2) Education Technology Laboratory, 3)  Anatomy Laboratory.  4) Internet Hall 5) Library, 6) Exercise Physiology Laboratory etc. for quality enhancement of teaching learning process. The hostel and physical education facilities are also available in the campus of university.


           
 
TEACHING LEARINING INTERACTIONS:

           
 
Students regularly interact with teachers in the classroom as well as out of classroom to achieve better learning experiences. Students need the advice & guidance with regards to academic decision and plans or about personal problems and hazards. Teaching learning process is carried through different teaching methods and teaching strategies like.

These methods are used with lecture method. These techniques are found effective and useful to inculcate democratic attitude, creative learning and a cooperative culture in classroom.

           
 
b) Media based methods:

Teaching aids like radio, slide projector or over head projector, LCD projector are consistently in teaching use. The students' also use these equipments for their presentations and seminars.

           
 
c) Games & Simulation:

Games & simulation are modern trends in effective teaching methods. Faculty members found these techniques fruitful in teaching learning process. The techniques used in practice are as Follows.
