The School has been
established on July 15, 2000. It runs M.A.(English) and M.A.
(Marathi) courses of two
year duration on semester pattern of examination. It has introduced
papers related to British Literature from Chaucer to the Modern
times. The course is proposed to be converted to semester pattern in
near future.
The School has well equipped language
laboratory and audio visual facilities.
Admission to the
course is based on the corresponding graduates examination. Candidates holding bachelors
degree in Arts with optional English or Marathi and with minimum 40% marks in
aggregate, from any recognized University are eligible for the
admission to respective course.
